  • [S3863] Gravestone: TAPSCOTT, Hubert - Gravestone -- Repository for Source:- Find a Grave -- The transcript on the LSD website indicates that Hubert's mother was Amy (Walker) Tapscott (the gravestone includes a memorial to her with the first word of "MOTHER"), but a separate Probate record raised in respect of Hubert Tapscott indicates Amy as the Widow which is in line with other records found. To further confirm this, the date of death for Hubert on the Probate application is the same as that on the gravestone.
  • [S3864] Graveyard Monumental Inscription (Transcript): TAPSCOTT, Amy - Gravestone Inscription -- Repository for Source:- Find a Grave

This forms an additional "block" that has been added to the gravestone of her husband Hubert. (This has resulted in some transcripts of the memorial "assuming" that Amy is the mother of Hubert!)
